A copy of the Good News edition of the Bible is available for every member of the congregation. During prayers of intercession at each Sunday service, in addition to those for whom there are special concerns, we also remember on a rota basis all members of our church community, and those living and working locally. Members of the congregation regularly read the Lessons and sometimes take a larger part in organising and delivering worship.
When our Minister is not present (including taking services elsewhere within the pastorate), we welcome a variety of clergy & lay-preachers to our pulpit both from other churches (including other denominations ie Anglicans, Baptists and Methodists) and from within our own congregation.
Home communion services are a regular feature catering for those who have difficulty in getting to church because of poor health or infirmity.
Worship also occurs regularly each month at the Glebe Centre for service-users and staff.
